Tenacity is all stocked up with beautiful sparkling goodies from Tarina Tarantino just in time for the holiday season. Seventy Two Changes unveils its first spring collection in New York

September 22nd, 2009—Since its official launch in February 2009, Seventy Two Changes has caught the attention of the fashion-savvy and media alike.

Like the debut Fall 2009 collection, Spring 2010 draws from elements of music and dance for inspiration. Each piece is designed not only for style, but for ease of movement and effortlessness. This season, Seventy Two Changes was taken for a twirl in the world of prima ballerinas. From tutus to pointe shoes, inspiration could be found in everything from the decadent fabrics and exquisite detailing of the costumes to the feminine yet physically tough attitude that ballerinas embody. With this empowering idea of women who are at once graceful and strong, Seventy Two Changes continues to build on the line’s philosophy that women should have the freedom to evolve and grow. This ability to interchange and sense of spontaneity can be seen in the four unique themes within the collection: City Chic, Sea Change, Dancing Diva and Summer Nights.

City Chic explores the darker, streetwise element with a color story of mostly black and grey with a refreshing splash of lime green. Lace up details, corset graphic tees and jeweled embellishments channel the city girl’s inner ballerina, while the tougher side is invited to play with leather accents in various forms, from suspenders to fringe and even a studded leather bikini.

With Sea Change, the tides take a turn with a cheery color palette of red, white, heather grey and navy. Tailored military jackets are paired with flowy printed dresses, creating a pas de deux of masculine and feminine tones. Stripes, metal hardware, pops of plaid and playful graphics complete the look, fit for a quick seaside getaway.

Dancing Diva is unapologetically girly with shades of soft pink, purple and fuchsia. This story features printed silk dresses, chic leggings and embellished rib tanks. With flower appliqués, sequins and bows, each piece is designed for the modern stage— complete with an updated leather-trim tutu.

Summer Nights recall the beach-inspired hues of Saint-Tropez. Lightweight styles come in a vibrant wash of ocean blues, stone greys and sunny yellows. Night-out dresses and tops come in flattering silhouettes, while sexy shoulder-baring jersey tops provide an effortless look for our dancer on holiday. Subtle jeweled and studded embellishments add the final touch.

L.A.M.B. Spring 2010 Collection Sure To Be A Big Hit At Tenacity

Fashion Week  is always such an exciting time as we get a peak of what we will be wearing in the season to come.  Tenacity was honored to attend the presentation of L.A.M.B. spring 2010.

The presentation was a casual affair with models showcasing the clothing to a track of old 80’s hits.  Gwen Stefani mingled with the crowd answering questions.  The collection consists of off shoulder tops, tailored jackets, acid wash denim, lace tights and jodphur cargo pants.  Bright blue eye shadow, vibrant pink handbags and belts with zipper detail accesorized the looks.

The line is very fresh, wearable and on trend.  We are getting a very favorable response to the collection and already have pre orders.

Susana Monaco Fall 2009

Susana Monaco has arrived at Tenacity and we are so excited.  The fall collection looks amazing with gorgeous deep mulberry purple, pine green and rich chocolate brown.  The cap sleeve wool dress in mulberry has a great body conscious fit.  We just love the silk charmeuse v neck dress in brown.  It is the perfect easy slip dress that can be dressed up or down.

L.A.M.B. Fall 2009

For the fall 2009 L.A.M.B. collection, Gwen redefines classic L.A.M.B. fashion and casual staples demonstrating the evolution of her personal style.  “I really wanted to express the quintessential L.A.M.B. style by creating sophisticated, urban yet feminine iconic pieces for fall.  This collection was inspired by classic British tartans and new, modern shapes that bring together an edgy menswear feel and a classic sense of femininity.  I’ve always loved these two elements,” says Gwen.

This season’s fabrics include silks, cashmeres, and several variations of wool in addition to jerseys, cottons, crepes, and chiffons.  The signature L.A.M.B use of black and white has been supplemented with smoke and heather grey, ruby and faggio red, and accents of indigo blue.  As always, Gwen’s collection features unique prints and stripes, including an Orchid Petal Print and Twig Pinstripe in addition to graffiti and ombre patterns.  Plaids and tartans remain key for the collection, which features Charcoal Plaid, Jeans Plaid, Ruby Tartan, and Blue Tartan.  A key focus for the collection was to incorporate feminine ruffles into structural pieces such as motorcycle jackets and trench coats.  The collection offers many classic L.A.M.B. silhouettes including pencil skirts and tailored jackets while also providing a fresh take on draped jersey tops and dresses.

As creative director of L.A.M.B., Gwen is hands-on and fully involved in every step of the design process.  Widely recognized for her eclectic personal style and carefree elegance, Gwen’s style is something that is never constant, but rather is ever changing as she designs each season drawing inspiration from all areas of her life.  “L.A.M.B. evolves so much every season,” says Gwen “and with each collection I feel like I grow and mature as a designer.”

L.A.M.B. is a reflection of Gwen’s unique personal style, and is expressed in the many varying components that define her iconic look.  The creation of L.A.M.B. (an acronym for Love Angel Music Baby) was a natural progression for Gwen, who has designed her own clothing her entire life, creating much of her tour wardrobe for No Doubt as well as her career as a solo artist.

L.A.M.B. Trademark Signature Collection Handbags at Tenacity

An adorable little lamb graces the front of L.A.M.B.’s new signature collection handbags.  We just received our shipment last week and fell in love!  The L.A.M.B. Redfin is the perfect bag for concerts and anytime you don’t want to carry a bag in the hand or on your shoulder.  It looks great in the signature trademark.  We also received the zip around wallet and greenwood.

Victor Osborne hats will be arriving at Tenacity late this summer.  We carefully chose four different stlyes.  One of our favorites is the leopord cloche hat.  All of us at Tenacity are very excited to add this great desinger to our featured desigers.

Tarina Tarantino Electric Koolade Collection has arrived at Tenacity

We received our pieces from Tarina Tarantino’s Electric Koolade collection last week.  The boldly painted coconut shells with crystal embellishment are beautiful stand out pieces.  The colors will complement and pop against the neutral beige and brown tones that are dominating this season.

We also received the scroll earrings from Tarina Tarantino’s Victorian Navajo collection in both turquoise and brown as well as the crystal drop and star drop earrings from the Opalescent collection.  They sparkle like crazy!

These pieces would all make great Mother’s Day gifts!

Tarina Tarantino Red Heart Pendant Necklace on American Idol
